FCF-2 Ceramic foam filters are used in the production of cast iron and ductile iron to effectively retain non-metallic materials in molten metal. Less slag, increased mechanical properties, better surface and machinability are obtained as a result of use.

3- Since the filter somewhat restricts the liquid metal flow, the area reserved for the filtering should be 2-4 times larger than the entrance area to the sprue part.
4- Filter Placement: It can be placed anywhere in the metal gating system, but the best results are obtained as close to the entrance as possible.
5-Metal flow height should not be more than 300 mm in direct vertical castings.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Store in a cool and dry place, keep away from moisture. Shelf life is 3 years.
